Greg Haskins was born and raised in central Illinois. His stage life originated with him singing in a large local band in his hometown. He then racked up a few other theatrical roles in college at Oklahoma University (Bernardo in West Side Story, if you can believe that). After college, he spent eleven years working at Walt Disney World in Florida and Japan. During that time, he performed in over 7,000 live shows as a singer-dancer in the theme parks, convention shows, commercials and Disney television specials. After leaving Disney, he headed to New York City for five years, worked in a few playhouse theaters and with Deborah Gibson in the pre-Broadway tour of “Funny Girl”. After musical theater left him high and dry, he headed to Los Angeles in 2000 to start over doing stand-up comedy. He spent a year in workshops developing this one-person show and for the last 3 1/2 years has been performing Almost Walking A Straight Line in small theaters, Fringe Festivals (play festivals) and colleges.
